Before and After Commercial Water Damage

This before and after set depicts a basement in a commercial property that was affected by water damage. SERVPRO was dispatched out to help dry and extract this location. When we are dealing with a large amount of standing water, there are a number of different pieces of equipment that we can utilize to get the area properly dried so that we can further restore the area. In the “after” photo, the smaller piece of equipment on the left is an air mover. Air movers are used to improve air circulation and flow to speed up evaporation and reduce drying times. The larger machine on the right is a dehumidifier, which removes the moisture in the air and helps to reduce risks associated with water damage, such as mold.
